In the Cave, I feel the common prisoner top hat represents me. These prisoners are a symbol of life before we are fully educated according to Platos ideal. As an undergraduate student, I feel that I have not nearly reached my educational potential. I have much more to learn and experience, and I am yet to understand true reality. In accordance with Platos allegory, as a prisoner I feel I would unquestionably embrace the sun upon release.
