Beowulf is a story that takes place in medieval Europe.The antecedent who wrote this book is Rose Sutcliff , and the main part of the story is most a knight, Beowulf, who has to fight evil creatures such as a dragon. He is strong, courageous, and loyal. He portrays these fontistics in the battle against Grendel, the affray with Grendels mother, and the fight against the dragon that inevitably ended his life. Beowulf is my favorite character because he is strong, courageous and loyal.
First, Beowulf is a very strong man. In all the story that I read I come across that Beowulf is a man of admirable exploits. He has the strength of 30 men in his arms, and would use this strength to aid any wholeness in need. Upon hearing of the plight of Grendel and the ill happenings in Hrothgars kingdom, Beowulf promptly gathers his entourage to help the king and defend Heorot. When Beowulf encounters the beast that has terrorized for cardinal years, he single-handedly rippe off Grendels arm, an act ultimately killing the creature. To further delineate his heroism, Beowulf keeps the arm as a trophy of his victory. That particular part of the book showed me that Beowulf is always for his people, and showed me that he is very strong.
Secondly, he is a very courageous man.
