Samuel Langhorne Clemens was one of the most famous American writers of his time. Better cognize as Mark Twain, Samuel Clemens was most known for his humor, unforgettable characters, and virtually of the best novels ever written in the world. Samuel Clemens was born in Florida, Missouri, on November 30, 1835. He was the sixth of seven children in his family of John Clemens and Jane Lampton. Early in Samuels childhood, he and his family moved to Hannibal, Missouri.
