surviving in a world with freedom of expression, freedom of tongue; basically, being free to doing anything can be seen as a blessing, precisely to some people, the lack of power and control everywhere others is a disastrous way of brio and it must be changed and ad entirelyed. In the eyes of galactic Brother and the dodge, the world and its inhabitants must be kept under strict rules and laws, and if broken, the criminals must be annihilated. These laws and consequences argon what keep the people in 1984 from actually living as human beings. Two big comp adeptnts of humanity are the importance of linguistics and language, and our media, but when tampering with these components, which is the exactly what the governing body did, human life starts to disintegrate.
A strong belief in Oceania, the empire in which Big Brother rules over, is that language is just a bunch of words that can lead to a person committing a thought wickedness, which is when you think of something that goes against the System of Big Brother.
The best solution to getting relinquish of thought crime and basically getting rid of sentiment all in concert is to create a new language called Newspeak which uses English words, gets rid of the useless words like synonyms and antonyms; the goal is to find one word that can describe everything by adding a suffix or prefix to it. Changing a language to simplify the thought process, or, in other words, to cut out thinking all together, is criminal. Not only is this throwing away the freedom of speech, but it is throwing away the freedom of thinking which is an inevitable human trait.
