Abstract
The purpose behind this physical composition is to look at the history and impact on upbringing of the check of Other Health Impairment (OHI). In essence, OHI is correspondent with Attention famine Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The author will throw a general overview of the important people and ideas that brought about the disability that is currently known as ADHD. It will also be presented how this disability has affected the education system, as well as how this disability is dealt with within the educational system.

History of ADHD
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a medical given that has most likely existed since the dawn of time. The ancient Greek philosopher Hippocrates described a condition with symptoms that resemble ADHD over 2,500 years ago (Capaccio, 2008). In 1798, a Scottish-born doctor and author, Sir Alexander Crichton, made one of the early references to the inattentive-type of ADHD. He described a mental recite of restlessness, problems with attention, onset at a young age and its effects on the ability to perform in school (Palmer & Finger, 2001). Sir Crichton contributed this mental state of restlessness to which something the chela is born.

More recently, in 1845, the German physician Dr. Heinrich Hoffman wrote a poem, The Story of Fidgety Philip, describing the behavior of a child with ADHD (Capaccio, 2008). This poem about Phillips behavior, which today would stool him diagnosed with the medical condition of ADHD, caused people of the time to blame his parents for his nutty and uncontrollable behavior. During the late 19th Century, this was the common-held belief of the causes for ADHD. The uncontrollable behaviors of these children were seen as a moral failing of the parents, child, or both. Physical penalty was seen as the only treatment (Gamache, 2011).
