INTRODUCTION
# RAP Topic & Organization Selection

The matter I selected for my Research and Analysis Project is Topic 8 AN
ANALYSIS OF THE FINANCIAL SITUATION OF YOUR CHOICE OF ORGANIZATION, as
presented in the Oxford Brookes University RAP Guidelines.
My choice of this particular topic was primarily the result of my immanent interest
in financial reporting and regular observation of the work of key
financial entities of the business sector. Furthermore, being an ACCA student,
my basic training of works with figures and deriving a logical conclusion as
regards the performance and prospects of plain entities also biased my choice
towards this topic.
The analysis of an entitys financial fact and its overall performance is of
vital importance to all its ongoing and potential stakeholder groups, external
