Introduction

The myths evolving around family structure has perpetuated the American ball club for many centuries. This is particularly due to the large numbers of actual issues that ten to arise within families. A harsh humanity is that people these days argon forming nontraditional families. False imagery of traditional families can be traced back to popular TV shows such as “Leave It to Beaver” and “The Patridge Family” but at that place is in addition the media, film, the newspaper and politicians. We will take a notion at some sociological reasons why or how changes came most in family structure.

Is there a possible decline in family? There are different family types in today’s indian lodge that show people do not prepare to be blood related, in order to consider themselves and their family members a “family”.



Due to the rise in divorce rates, people intend that this indicates the dissolution of a family but some in society feel families are stronger than they have ever been before.

Basically, there are two types of families that are related to each other socially. scratch line there is the “nuclear family”, which consists of one self-aggrandising male, one adult female and their dependent children. There may also be other relatives such as cousins, grand stirs, uncles and aunts. There is also a type of family that has what is called a lone parent. A lone parent is the result of divorce or separation, who decided to raise, there children alone. Cohabitation is also a type of family. This type of family consists of natural birth parents bread and butter together but they are not married.
