We watched a movie called Dantes Peak in class last week. The movie is ab by eruption of a volcano which located by the small town called Dantes peak. Dantes Peak, the town is receiving an award for being The second most sexually attractive place to live in the United States, population infra 20,000. Nobody would believe the volcano will erupt. Harry Dalton is move to the small town of Dantes Peak to check on comical activity. Dalton urges Mayor Rachel to put the city on alert. Daltons boss, Paul Dreyfus arrives and countermands Dalton demanding scientific proof. When the proof finally arrives, Harry and Rachel must go to the volcano to rescue her two children and ex-mother-in-law. Tension builds as they try to master safety while the town below is destroyed.
From this movie I found these following facts. Dalton tested the PH of the water of Dante to compare with 15 years ago to see if there is e rattling change. Dalton took pictures of the rocks to see when was the last eruption. The two squares dead body indicates the possibility is coming. Before the volcano erupts, those scientists employ seismograph to record the action of the volcano. They used Tiltmeters and Statellites to determine the change of the mountain. They tried to get the change of PH in water.
They used a robot which looks kind give care Dante II to learn the volcano actions. The mudslide in the movie looks very distinctly, a huge disaster always come out with several secondary disasters.
The fictions I found are more or less the volcano activities and how they showed in the movie. Dantes Peak is a stratovolcano which wint have its lava fertilises too fast and too far, so the movie of this part is kind of exaggerate. Also, the temperature of the lava could be enough to glow whatever thing into flames, so they wouldnt have any time to jump in the car.
