Sustainable nurture is generally defined as development that uses natural resources in a way that meets the needs of currently developing peoples without endangering their posterity with the possibility of running out of those resources. The concept of sustainable development involves environmental, social, and economic beas of thought to determine the success of sustainability endeavors. One cannot treat sustainability without considering all three of these beas.
Geography of this essay

Chapters 7,8, and 9 of the class casebook are devoted to the middle west, the Great Plains, and the Mountain West/ southernwest, respectively. The states that are included include most of the states in the US miss for the eastern seaboard, the Appalachian mountain system, or the Deep South and coastal lowlands. This is a vast and geographically diverse region, twain in human and physical geography.

The Midwest was heavily agricultural until expansion brought manufacturing to the Great Lakes area out-of-pocket to the cost benefit of proximity. Much land is devoted to dry land and other agriculture. Manufacturing has been overshadowed by the growing service industry.
