The primary purpose of schools are to advance the common hefty and to help people live happy and successful lives. So why does society put such a charge up on public schools to make a change in social problems?
Today most families are dual-career families meaning that milliampere and dad both have full clipping jobs, which makes it bad for them to spend time with their children. There are also a lot of single parent families now days, for example a girl that commoves pregnant in high school, she drops out because she rallys that is what she of necessity to do to raise her child. She now works a full-time minimum wage paying job, she has doesnt have time to help her child with homework, and most of all she struggles to keep food on the table. Now days, most schools have a to begin with and after school course, where kids can source in and relieve oneself help on homework, or even just to come hang out. Also, many schools have breakfast and lunch program that allows kids to get a nutritional meal even if they codt have any money.




In my opinion, I think that public schools should try and get these single parents into a GED program, so they can get an education, find better paying jobs with a better income, then they could possibly get a young house, help their kids with their homework, and most of all get them fed. If this would happen in that respect would be less poverty, and kids could actually come to school in a condition to learn.
